The Royal British Legion in Brittany to receive its Standard
The Royal British Legion in Brittany is to receive their Standard in a ceremony to be conducted in La Chapelle de la maison de mère des frères in Ploërmel, Department 56, on Friday 14 March 2008.
Presenting the Standard will be Lieutenant Colonel Simon Owen, Irish Guards, who is the British Army Liaison Officer at St Cyr - the French equivalent of RMA Sandhurst and will be at the service in full uniform. He is also the Branch President. Lt. Col. Owen will present the Standard to the Branch Standard Bearer Dave Ball who served in the British Army for six years and now lives in the Morbihan Department.
