Come renew your U.S. passport and register to vote.

American Citizens Abroad is pleased to host a weekend Passport Renewal in conjunction with the Geneva U.S. Consular Office.  This is a unique opportunity for those who work and cannot get to the Consular offices during week days.   ACA will also demonstrate how to use www.overseasevotefoundation.org, a non-partisan website, to complete your voter registration form.

When:   Saturday, December 1, 2007 from 10:00am until 1:00pm
 
Where:     Number 2 Rue Thalberg, First Floor (Axia Investment Offices) 1211, Geneva, 022.716.18.18 .  Parking available next door at "Parking des Alpes"
          
How to get there:    The offices are easily accessible from the Geneva Cointrin train station (5 minute walk) and Bus Line No.1
 
What you should bring for passport renewal:   
1.      Your old passport and two 2 inch x 2 inch (5 x 5 cm) color passport photos (see authorized photographers addresses below )
2.      Birth certificates for all children under the age of 15.  
3.      Payment.    87.10chf for adults, 106.60chf for children under 16 and, 126.10chf for children over 16 (first time for a 10 year passport). Exact change appreciated.
 
What you should bring for voter registration: Current identification - social security card, American drivers licence, or U.S. passport plus your address, including zip code, of your voting address in the United States (the last place you resided in the United States).
