http://digital-photography-school.com/blog/got-a-digital-camera-for-christmas-learn-how-to-use-it-here/

This site, from the Digital Photography School website, offers a great introduction to digital photography. Darren Rowse has put together a series of tutorials to help new digital camera owners get the most out of their cameras whether simple point-and-shoot or the more heavy hitting SLR variety

Advanced digital camera users might find some of this site a little basic, but even experienced users may find his tips helpful in refreshing their memories.
Divided into five main categories, these tutorials cover topics such as Using Your Camera, How to Get Out of Auto Mode and Introduction to Exposure. Among the themes are basic introductions to shutter speed, aperture, and ISO settings, while the Composition section deals with the basics of the rule of thirds, getting horizons horizontal and backgrounds right, and photographing children. Additional material deals with the equipment itself and some interesting techniques. So, for an informative collection of digital photographic primers, zoom over to this site.
