Cardboard tubes
If you stuff your used tissues or paper napkins inside the cardboard tubes from kitchen and toilet rolls, they burn nicely on a fire. Alternatively use them to keep wires tidy, separated and easily labelled with a felt-tip marker pen. Particulary helpful if you’re moving house. When they fall apart, tear them up and put them in the compost.
