Follow in the footsteps of the famous cave dwellers, the dreaded wreckers Cadet and Belin and Jacques Mathieu Regnauld, captain of the ‘Régulus’ which deliberately foundered off these shores to avoid capture by the English! Take a guided tour round the extraordinary Grottes de Régulus, which have been lived in for centuries, and were a refuge for the Protestants during the Wars of Religion. The recent addition of the Hennessy family’s caves now prolongs the visit.
