The English Speaking Christian Fellowship has now received official
acceptance as an Association by the French authorities. Based in Homps
(dept 11) by the Canal du Midi, we currently have around twenty members
and we hold services every Sunday at 10.30 a.m. A Communion Service
takes place on the first Sunday of each month. Bible study is held once a
week, and social events are organised regularly.We are a very ecumenical
group which includes members with C of E, Methodist, Baptist, Catholic and
Church of Scotland backgrounds and of different nationalities. We warmly
welcome visitors, whether holidaying or longer-stay, and invite those
interested to make contact.

Rabies discovered in a dog in the Seine-et-Marne area.
On February 26, 2008 results from the Institute Pasteur were positive for a dog suspected of rabies. The dog had bitten a child, and was euthanised and the head sent for examination the next day.
