In “Skilled jobs” (April), you should have also stated “as long as you are French with French qualifications”. Luckily I am retired – not so lucky are my daughter and grand-daughter, both with international qualifications and excellent French, who after five years of really trying cannot get a job.
France will never have a good economy as long as it refuses to use the skills of foreigners in France. I thought the Common Market made us all Europeans: how naive of me.
