Dreaming about buying a place in the sun or on the ski slopes, but not sure you can afford it? One way you could is through buying a leaseback property

The French government introduced leaseback properties in 1976, which were built in certain areas to boost employment and tourism by providing rental homes for both French and foreign tourists.
You buy leaseback properties on the condition that you then lease it back to the developer or letting agent.
But you are the owner of the property – you own the freehold and commonly you’ll get a few weeks of the year to use the property yourself.
Here’s a taste of some properties that could not only provide an income, but offer you a few weeks of paradise every year.
