Dear Editor “Quebec… a city of 8,000,000 souls” – I am sorry – incorrect. The metropolitan area has a population of just over 710,000 and the city itself about 500,000 Richard Fagge Yes, we confused the population of the province with that of the city. Apologies also to Dulcie Barfield who helped write the history part of this feature. – Ed |
