 Born and brought up in the East End of London, Michael Frankel came to live in France in his early teens in 1965. He went to school in Dinard then Rennes where he studied computer programming then tourism. He worked in both areas for a couple of years and finally ended up doing a Doctorate in English Civilisation at Rennes University while being a state qualified secondary school teacher. He is presently a senior university lecturer. |
