 “Picardie is sometimes, the forgotten département. People dash through on their way south, or assume there is nothing to see except perhaps the Somme battlefields. In fact there is a lot more to Picardie than this: it is a beautiful, interesting, friendly and very forward-thinking place to live and I hope my contributions to ‘French News’ give the readers a balanced view of the département.” |
