“The quarter-page
‘Corrèze Notebook’
started up in ‘The
News’ in 1999. Then
it grew to half a page,
then a page, then
various supplements,
the ‘Limousin News’
magazine and finally
to the three pages you
read today in the
main paper.

As a full-time composer and pianist and also teacher at
the Conservatoire de Brive my main work is in classical music.
I’m lucky to have my music played regularly and recent years
have seen a gratifying recognition of my work in France with
performances and recordings by eminent players – notably
Olivier Latry, organist at Notre-Dame, Paris, the oboist, Nora
Cismondi and clarinetist, Nicolas Baldeyrou, both principals
with the Orchestre National de France, and Jérôme Devaud's
Paris-based Forum Sinfonietta.
I live in the old town of Uzerche, jewel of the Corrèze, where I
write the Limousin pages every month.”
