“My keen interest in food and drink
and producing it started at age
three, when I suggested to my
Dad that we should plant ‘meat seeds’.

Thirty years on, my knowledge of the subject has increased
considerably, thanks to food adventures and experiments. The move to
the Dordogne in 2002 was mainly inspired by the quality of life here,
of which food, drinks and cooking play such an integral part. After
living among the amazing products available here (glistening seafood,
ripe fruit ’n’ veg, hand-made cheese, wine, oils et cetera almost ad
nauseam), I have nowhere near exhausted all the avenues of foodie
exploration in France's multitudinous gastronomic regions. I
especially want to find those elusive meat seeds.”
