A terrible thing has happened to the duo Jean-Yves et Myriam Lameyre of MUSIQU’à DEUX, well-known for their regular interpretations of traditional folk music throughout south-west France in particular.
They have lost a brand-new violin. And these are not wealthy people. It happened at Brive-la-Gaillarde, on the Boulevard du Salan, on the evening of the Fête de la musique where they think and hope that someone picked up the violin and wishes to return it. The instrument is a golden brown colour, clearly new with brilliant varnish, and it’s in a hard case of blue material with a handle, the interior lined with turquoise velvet. Fans of folk who were there, anyone who can help please phone 05.55.95.94.49 or 06.88.82.03.32.
